My favorite hike, which I did 2 1/2 times was Great Head! I enjoyed this hike for a variety of different reasons. #1 it was short, a 1 .25 mile loop that you could do a number of ways. #2 Its close proximity to other hikes and areas of interest, which means you could add on to this hike or do it on its own. #3 Its AMAZING views. There is also a history aspect to this trail. The property was purchased as a gift for a newlywed couple; the wife built a tea house which is close to the summit. The ruins are still there.
