WHAT LUCK! G and I had waited all summer to take the Downeast Historical Railroad, because it only ran on Saturdays and Sundays. I didn’t have any weekends to spare. As luck would have it, my generous boss rerouted my days off and we were able to have one last weekend before the campgrounds closed. G and I made plans to board Saturday morning!
SURPRISE! The train was going to a ‘pumpkin patch’!
Someone was mad that I wouldn’t let her get a pumpkin.
I caved.
The fact that this was a Historic train made all the difference.
A good time was had by all!
